Taylor Swift ends three-year boycott of streaming service over royalties and makes entire back catalogue available to celebrate 10m sales of 1989 album. The decision to repost her songs on Spotify (online music site) has earned Taylor Swift a huge amount of money.

After deciding to leave Spotify in 2014, Taylor Swift brought her songs back to this online music platform and this is considered a wise decision. According to Billboard, the hits of the blonde female singer attracted 47.5 streams and earned her $ 397,000 in just one week.

To celebrate her 1989 album hitting more than 10 million record sales and her selling 100 million total songs, the pop singer announced that she was making her full back-catalog available on all streaming services starting tonight at midnight and this was regarded as her special thanks to all of the fans.

Back in 2014, the ‘Shake It Off” singer pulled her music from Spotify where she was one of the service’s most popular artists, after bemoaning that artists receive a tiny royalty per song play. She initially refused to release her 2012 album “Red” on this music platform and said that valuable things should be paid for. “It is my opinion that music should not be free,” she said at the time.
